Scrambling
Scrambling is probably best described as the gap between walking and rock climbing at the point where your hands start touching the rock.
These skills are required when you’ve moved on from wanting to summit only the more simple peaks or you’re looking for more interesting ways up things.
We’d decided that some of the things we were tackling were becoming less of a simple walk and required more skills and knowledge and that we ought to have some specialist tution.
We contacted a professional mountaineering instructor called Roger Chaldecott available here to help us develop some knowledge into the world of ropes.
I’ll slowly be going through these previous scrambles and expand on them in a little more detail.
